ID Masyarakat Terowongan dan Konstruksi Bawah Tanah Indonesia (MTKBTI) or Indonesian Tunneling and Underground Construction Society (InaTUCS) is the official forum for professionals, academics, and practitioners working in the field of tunneling and underground construction in Indonesia.
Establishment
This organization was established on April 17, 2025, as a follow-up to the Tunneling and Underground Space for Sustainable Development Conference held in Bandung from October 2-4, 2024. MTKBTI aims to promote the development of science, professionalism, and collaboration in the field of underground construction, both nationally and internationally.
MTKBTI has been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (AHU) and is in the process of registering with the LPJK. Furthermore, MTKBTI representatives participated in the International Tunneling Association (ITA) conference in Sweden in May 2025, demonstrating Indonesia's active role in the global professional network in this field.
